TF OC - Grand Saut

Yaay, one of my circus mechs: the lithe little monoformer, Grand Saut practising his performance. He's an old friend and comrade of Zenith and had already made a brief appearance in my gallery with his partner before.

This is how he looked like before he joined the Decepticons and he adapted a more... decent and all-around better plated appearance. All those exposed joints and the barely protected sparkchamber were part of the job as a dancer - volnerability and flexibility being the key words -, but they are not the most practical things in war.


He is dancing, by the way, a very special dance - one that I really want to write a fic about, but knowing myself and how long it takes me to churn out enough words to make a fic, here's a short rundown:

As a dancer and later circus slave, Grand Saut's most sought after performance was the Death-dance. Some high class mechs got a kick out of feeling like they had control over life and death, so they hired dancers who pretended to dance themselves to death; joints locking up, biolights dimming, loosing power, all that jazz. After some time, it got recognized as an art form because of how difficult it was to make it look good and convincing, but it didn’t make it an less morbid or horrifying to watch and got known more as a shocking performance of the highest caliber.
